Dane have built strong, highly qualified and loyal management team and workforce over the years. We have many people with extensive periods of service of between ten and thirty years and have a low staff turnover.
Every employee receives an annual appraisal. The appraisal process identifies training and development needs of our employees.
Our directors and managers have the appropriate professional, technical and safety qualifications for their particular roles. Shop floor and site based operatives receive appropriate NVQ training and hold the requisite skills, plant operators and safety qualifications.
Our site installation personnel have all the required credentials of technical skills, safety management, plant operators licenses and insurance cover.
Dane has an annual intake of Craft Apprentices from the local technical college, individuals join our shop floor teams in the aluminium & metalwork workshops whilst attending day release courses to complete their qualification.
Similarly technical modern apprentices join the business to supplement management functions typically starting in the drawing office for a six month period prior to moving to the other Departments and building a rounded knowledge of our business.
