Dane employees have once again completed the 140 mile Whitehaven to Sunderland C2C cycle challenge in aid of the Willow Burn hospice charity.

Contract award National indoor sport arena (NISA) and velodrome Glasgow
Dane have been awarded a new contract for curtain walling, rooflights and external soffit cladding at the National indoor sports arena (NISA) and velodrome in Glasgow. The main contractor is Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd.
This will be one of Europe’s largest indoor sports facilities.

Dane employees completed the 140 mile Whitehaven to Tynemouth C2C cycle challenge in aid of the Children’s Heart Unit Fund charity.
It was a challenging 3 day event at the end of June 2010 that I’m sure everyone enjoyed it, or at least took great satisfaction that all the effort was for charity!

Dane have been awarded four new projects so far this month with a contract value of £3 million.
1. The University of Nottingham project for main contractor Mansell. The project comprises 900 square metres of curtain walling and 1600 square metres of aluminium rainscreen / sofit cladding.

Coast to Coast (C2C) charity bike ride June 2010 (updated)
Last year 20 Dane staff completed the Coast to Coast bike ride. Dane contributed by paying all the cost allowing all the sponsorship raised going directly to the charity.
Last years ride raised just over £6,600 pounds for the Children’s’ Heart Unit (CHUF) at the Newcastle Freeman Hospital. In 2010 we hope to raise a substantial sum again.
