We have extensive Design capacity at our Hamsterley base including 30 Autocad draughtsmen within our aluminium and metalwork drawing offices.
We view the design process in many respects as the most critical phase of a project and through our extensive experience and expertise are able to ensure that all technical and buildability issues are properly considered at this stage and the resultant drawings deliver the optimum solution.
Our detailed drawings are methodically prepared to carefully consider trade interface details and provide the user with the required level of information.
We have 60,000ft² of modern manufacturing space for our aluminium and metalwork fabrication operations.
Our workshops are equipped and set out to enable optimal output and the maintenance of the highest quality standards.
Machinery within our aluminium fabrication workshops includes - double mitre saw, compound double mitre saw, 3 axis profile machinery centre, 4 axis profile machining centre, notching saws, cross cut and glazing bead saws, auto drilling machines, copy routers, corner crimpers and combination presses/punches.
Part of the works facility is allocated for indoor material storage. This area includes a thermal break machine together with protective tape application equipment.
Significant outdoor storage is available and material handling is via four combi fork lifts.
Our metalwork workshops include 3 overhead cranes with 5 tonnes lift capacity which enables us to produce large modular architectural steel staircases.
We have brake presses and guillotines which enable us to produce our own pressed sheet metalwork and bracketry.
